Labor control doesn’t exist in isolation. It depends on estimating accuracy, clear scope, proper handoffs, and consistent job cost tracking.

This is where SOPs matter. They connect estimating assumptions to field execution. They define how labor is planned, tracked, and adjusted.

Without SOPs, labor control relies on individual discipline. With SOPs, it becomes part of the system.

Labor will always be one of the largest costs in roofing. That doesn’t make it a weakness.
